Medium speed sweet former (Seamless forming) :

This sweet former machine, developed after many years field experience, comprise of substantial frame Which supports the die head operated by a DC motor drive.

This Sugar rope, discharge from the rope sizer, is drawn through a pair of electrically heated feed rollers into the rotary die head. The feed rollers are of various interchangeable sizes to cover a wide range of products, having been selected to produce the required rope size. The rollers gap is adjusted by means of an eccentric to determine the final weight of the sweet.

The machine is driven by a variable speed DC motor, synchronized with product characteristics and batch throughput. Seamless sweets are formed in the die between two eccentric rings and a series of cam operated plungers. The formed sweets are released on the belt of the air - cooled conveyor.

To produce perfect seamless or center filled sweets. Center filled sweets possible by interchanging cams. Cams are made of heat treated steel. Seamless sweets produced on this machine is without tail or burr & can be wrapped in any high speed wrapping machine. Fitted with a D.C drive for varying speed. Two speed A.C. frequency drive is also possible. Speed of candy rope approx. 80 - 100 meter/min. The pre sizing roller receives the rope from the rope sizer. the rope enters into the forming die. The plunger takes the sugar pillow & transfer it to the matrix ring where the candy is formed into the desired shape.
Forming pressure is adjustable.V belts are used for the transmission. The top deck of the cooling conveyor is connected to the drive of the sweet former for discharge of sweets.
